Our Heritage
Built around 1830 — long before Llandudno’s renowned Victorian development — Min y Don Llandudno began life as a unique industrial residence featuring an underslung water wheel that powered a copper ore crushing mill.
By the late 19th century it had become a gentleman’s seaside residence, and by the early 20th century its reputation for refined hospitality was well established. Thoughtful expansions in the 1930s added two elegant floors and a graceful rear wing, shaping the distinctive architectural presence that continues to charm guests today.
